The sort of new courthouse downtown seattle
Downtown has changed a lot in the past year that I wasnt down there. The courthouse, which was built a few years back, didnt have these trees all over the place. It was just this barren open area that was depressing. The trees made it so much nicer and comforting. I loved this sight last night and wanted a pic of it.
Here we are again, and I use we in the royal sense not like there was anyone else with me or anything, on capitol hill sitting in Bauhaus and looking at the Space Needle. I was sitting in this exact spot 9 years ago. I like this spot. I wont live on Capitol Hill again. A bit too noisy but I do love this coffee shop and the view.

View from Cactus at 845 pm
So apparently this place is called Cactus not iCactus as I previously thought. Silly non spanish speaking boy.
Had the same seat and same waiter as last time and OMG the food was FLANTASTIC. BTW the flan is well worth the trip alone and the view of the water. That little speck of light in the middle of the photo is a ferry.

C P Coffee House in West Seattle
This place is just so incredibly comfy and relaxing. Playing great soft music and serving up some wonderful coffee and teas as well as scrumptious pastries. The spinach croissant is truly to die for.
Kent leading into Tukwila
This is a road that is lined with business parks. I always find it so strange that this road has so much of both open fields and industrial buildings.
Kent Auburn Border
I see this strip of road so much I needed to take a pic of it. This is literally where Auburn meets Kent , right at this intersection. Its noisy and bleak but if you like your scenery with little trees, not much clouds and no hills then you will like the area.

View from Alki Beach
Alki beach. Across the water to the right in the pic is the backside of Queen Anne. Gotta love that water :)
iCactus
Pic from the window from inside iCactus. A VERY good southwest restaurant. I had the Spa Chicken and it was insanely flavorful. It was an orgy of flavors in my mouth and since it was a Spa it was all hot skinny chicks in the orgy... win win.
Representative
I am trying to take representative pics of West Seattle. I like this one. The trees and greenery around the houses tucked away.
Typical Kent
A typical morning in Kent. If you looked further up the street trash was everywhere. This pretty much sums up Kent. Its all trash and nothing good is there except for Megan. Other than that a very sad, trashy place.

Two craters by the road
There is this dip in the ground that I walk past in auburn off of A street. Thats the name of the street not just a street. I always want to go lay down in it. Its hard to see from the pic but from the sidewalk its this huge depression. I wonder how it was created because its two craters with all this grass grown in. It looks so comfy and I am strangely drawn to it like its crop circles or something.
Jacks Burgers in Auburn
This guy told me that Jacks was a damn good burger. I was in the area and stopped in. Iordered the special Jacks Burger and you get a choice of potato salad, slaw, fries or macaroni salad. Those choices alone make this place a top pick for me. Macaroni salad when done right is the bestest thing ever! Well the meal did not disappoint in the least. I swear some Hawaiian must have made the macaroni salad. Thats a little tip for you if you havent had Hawaiian macaroni salad you are missing out on life. Seriously.. go get some now. Ill wait here...

This is from the train while travelling back to Seattle. This is right around Tacoma. Just freaking gorgeous!
West Seattle Garden
I love how West Seattle is always so decorated with flower and flower gardens everywhere. Every little street you go down is so pretty.

Me and My Shadow
Wow your shadow really does put on some weight.... So this is Renton. Everyone is fat so I thought the picture fitting... lol
Tukwila Train Station
This is the Tukwila train station. Its the barest of bare as far as train stations go. I am just glad its there. Its elevated and sits about 30 feet in the air so its gets a nice breeze up there. It might get cold in winter but its nice in the summer with the breeze.
Inside of "crack park"
This is " crack park" in Queen Anne. A cute little rendevous. At first I thought it was just a view and thats it but there is actually room for people and places to sit and even picnic. Albeit there are only 3 parking spaces. lol
View from " Crack Park"
View of Seattle from the " crack park - see pic below" Totally insane this little hidden park in Seattle. Very cool.
View from GasWorks Park
View from Gasworks park. Just amazing. The water looked incredibly inviting that day. The breeze off the water was incredible.
I can has cheezburger??
The Lunchbox Laboratory. The menu was to die for literally. The high caloric - half a pig- you got on your burger was incredible. The food was exquisite.Well worth the price cause it was pricey but not really compared to what you got. This is a must has!
