False hope

So where did this weather go? We went back into winter again. Sigh...

Palmer has a new seat. Its a new perspective for him with new height. Also its sunny out.

Kona coffee from Starbucks

Only at a few starbucks do they do this fancy new coffee brewing process. Its a cup of coffee made right then for you using a special brewing mechanism that involves bubbles or some other willy wonk-esque shit. Its expensive and VERY good. Well worth it and I usually get one once a week and you have to drink it in a cup there cause it would be blasphemy to put this coffee in a paper or plastic cup. I would slap you.

Crazy ass hail storm end of march

I took the pic too soon. If I had taken another one you would have seen the ground as pure white but I was so transfixed I couldnt take another one. I just kept staring at it. It was amazing. People had to park and get off the road it was coming down so hard. At one point you couldnt see more than 20 feet away with any hope of not hitting something. I was caught in a hail storm once and dont want to be on foot again for that. Painful

There are little sail boats all over the place in this pic. It was pretty amazing. Had never seen that outside in west seattle.

My new project

Sorta funny that on a super cloudy day and rainy that I finally bought my Solar Energy kit.

I think we missed spring and summer and went straight to plaid

It felt so much like Fall today. Rainy and soaking wet and cold. Was pretty nice :)

Work

Had this on my phone for a while. Been meaning to post it. Just a generic photo from work. This is the relaxation lounge that has a view of Queen Anne. Its very peaceful.

Rock Thingy at Convention Center

Its so interesting to me how the convention center blends into its surroundings. This point in the back is actually up in First Hill and all those buildings in the background are apt buildings and condos. Literally right out the back door of the Convention Center. Also of this foliage and other decor makes it feel so cozy.

It was so pretty out just had to take a picture or three.

Meghan at Emerald Comicon

It was amazing outside so we had to take a break to take some pics. This was held at the Convention Center downtown and had lots of people on sunday. Apparently on sat it was crazy go nuts. Glad we didnt go sat.

We met three of The Guild and I must say that Claire is SOOOO Claire. lol. Sandeep was pretty funny as we had never noticed that we both are the H's. He said that when we had him sign our season 1 The Guild DVD. He said " oh the H's" when I spelled out John and Meghan. Jeff was there as well or Vork as he goes by in show but we didnt say much to him but he looked exactly the same too.

We saw Wil Wheaton do the Rockband thing and it was pretty awesome. That dude is freaking funny. Love his banter with the audience.

Lastly, on the way out, we saw William Bell , or Leonard Nemoy if you want to be technical, with his police escort for the Con. He was really hard to notice as he is pretty generic with a baseball cap on but Meghan has an eagle eye.

Fancy espresso

Vivace coffee by work in Lake Union area. They offered two shots of espresso with corn syrup. I added some half and half and it was this really make-you-crazy-hyper drink that you have to hold your pinky out while you drink.
